2026 Utility Rate Update – Effective July 1, 2026
The Village of Westchester is committed to providing high-quality water and sewer services to its residents. As part of this commitment, the village announces new utility rates effective July 1, 2026.
New Rates
- Water: $21.13 per 1,000 gallons
- Sewer: $4.43 per 1,000 gallons
Residents will see these changes reflected in their September utility bills. There will be no changes to water/sewer infrastructure fees.
Support for Long-term Improvements
The updates are part of the village’s approved long-term funding plan based on a comprehensive water and sewer rate study. These funds are dedicated solely to water and sewer projects, maintenance, and improvements, including:
- Replacing aging infrastructure
- Water main and lead service line replacements
Investing in the Future
